Executive Golf Course Guide
Although golf continues to increase in popularity worldwide,
there are several reasons golfers may be unable to take advantage of a full-size,
18-hole golf course. Many golfers have limited time to play due to other commitments
and a limited budget with which to pay green fees. Novices may find the rigours of a
standard course simply too demanding for their ability level,
whilst older players may find that such courses present too much of a physical challenge.
This is where the "executive" or "par-3" golf courses come into their own.
Such courses comprise mainly par-3 holes, with perhaps just one par-4 hole.
The following looks at some of the better executive courses in the UK.
These are listed in alphabetical order, with no preference implied.
